What we collect

When you use the contact form on an agent's profile, we collect the information you submit — typically your name, email address, phone number, and any message or details about your buying or selling timeline. We also collect basic usage data (pages viewed, general location, device type) to understand how the site is used and to keep it running reliably.

How we use and share it

When you submit a contact form, Locally receives your name, email, phone number, and message. We may forward your inquiry to the agent whose profile you selected so they can follow up with you. We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not share it with agents you didn't select.

Data retention

We retain lead submissions as long as needed to operate the service and resolve disputes. You can request deletion of your information at any time by emailing us — see below.

How we measure site use

We use first-party cookies and similar technologies, set by this site only, to measure how the site is used and to improve it. We record things like pages viewed, which agent profiles and cards are seen or clicked, searches and filters used, and how long a page stays open, along with your approximate region, device type and browser family. We may link this activity to information you submit, for example a contact request. We never record what you type into forms, except the words you enter in our site search and the choices you make in our matching questions. We do not store your IP address, we do not sell this data, and we do not use it to track you on other sites.

We honour Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. To opt out, turn either one on in your browser. We then record nothing and set no cookie. Clearing the locally_vid cookie only resets your anonymous id. The cookie lasts one year; detailed activity is deleted after about 13 months.

Cookies

Cookies operate the site and measure how it is used, as described above. We do not use them to sell your data to advertisers.
